Today I set my deadline and even typed up the invitations!
In four months time I will have 10+ people arriving for a weekend away on a newly finished, decorated, brass-gleaming narrowboat. Tents, and birthday cake, an’all. You see I’ll be turning 24, which is the age I always thought I’d be pretty settled. So I figure by then, I should at least have a humble abode to call my own. The only problem is, at the moment I have no water or lighting; batteries aren’t connected to a thing; nowhere for the guests to sit; oh, and a peeling exterior paintjob. Thanks to the lack of graduate jobs out there, I’m gainfully unemployed so plenty of time to do it…if only I knew where to start.
Good job I’ve got my parents house-moving to procrastinate on. Boxes Everywhere!
Found this beautiful fold up bike in the shed, and have decided to add it to the list. A lick of paint, some roses, and Jamel scrawled on the side, and it’ll be good as new. Also found a replacement saddle from ebay, and leather strapping for the handles. Lovely!

Also road tested the wheels today and let's just say they failed their M.O.T. New rubber tyres whacks the cost of this refit up a bit but If I can get some cheap-ish ones with the sexy white unner rim it'll spruce the whole bike up beautifully!
Any suggestions where i might find cheapish second-hand bike bits?
